A Few of My Favorite Things

I must say, these are some of the MANY material things that make me smile. There should be a picture of my kitchen window with lacy curtains made by my granny. Also my heart suncatcher makes me smile more than one time every day : ). I'm pretty sure the next pic is of my living room curtains and lamp. I've always been a sucker for lace curtains (thanks Mom: ), especially when Granny made them! The lamp also came from Gramps and Granny...very old and very pretty! Last but not least are my dearfriends. They live on my street and come to visit whenever my grass is too tall. There are six of them, and as you can see in the last picture, they aren't shy at all! Enjoy the new pics!

Here are some pictures I took quite a while ago. Some things have changed since then, but everything is mostly the same.

Atlanta!

Not at all sure what order these pictures will be in, but the first two should be of Miss Morgan and Tyler. Next is Grandma Painter who is looking quite lovely : ). Last, but certainly not least : ), are Dad, Jc, and Me on our way there. For anyone who may not know, we went to Grandma's to pick up a fridge and dryer that she gave me for my new abode. So now when you come and see me you can have cold food and dry clothes! Thanks Grandma!!!!

I'm Back!

Hi!
I've not posted in a very long time, but I am back! I think my camera's working now, but one can never be sure:) These are some pictures that aren't brand new, but they are from this summer. Some of my favorites! Pics were taken at Cortner's Mill (not sure if I spelled that right). I don't know about the order, but there are beautiful water pictures, one of Mom waving from on top, and a couple of JC and I skipping rocks. Enjoy!

Last Weekend in Ohio

As you can see, it was c-o-l-d!!! The first picture is to show the snow (it kept snowing until the ground was completely white), then the second is of something that I just think is beautiful. I can't wait to have a house so that I can make it into a home like Mom did with these quilts. Aren't they just...I don't know how to describe how you feel when you first see them sitting in the corner all welcoming and pretty, but I love them! Moving right along, I'm sure you all can tell right away what I baked: ). Granny has quite the system of cooling too: ). I baked over 250 cookies (G and G counted). Gramps is concentrating pretty hard on the last bite of that cookie in the picture. And last but not least is the grand Ohio scenery! I just couldn't pass up the opportunity of taking a few pictures of that beautiful landscape...ahem...but...the one good thing is that at the same time that I took those pictures of dead looking cornfields, the sky looked like the picture above. Definitely georgous! Sorry for my bad grammar, but I'm not going to double check. Going to practice so that I don't sound awful for my jury! TTFN

This, is what is so very great about musicians; inspirational bathroom grafiti :). Isn't it funny?! I just had to take a picture to share because where else in the world would you find bathroom grafiti that makes you feel good about yourself?

I have had email inquiries about these girls, and NO, I am n-o-t one of them!!! I also took these pics when it was hot outside, and they were laying out near the baseball field. No comment.. :)

Spring Chicks

I saw these hot-chicks : ) yesterday, and couldn't resist taking their pics! Also there was an outdoor karate class. Just imagine the ha-ya! noise they were making. You could hear it from quite a ways away! TTFN

Did you know???

Did you know that when you plug a camera (or mine) into a computer (or just my computer) the noise, you know, da da, that it makes, is the interval of a perfect fifth? It's an ascending fifth whenever you turn the camera on, then descending when it goes off (fyi). I'm waiting on my pictures to load (up or down, whichever it is), and just thought you all might be interested in knowing that little piece of information. Aside from all, of my, badly, used, commas...etc. Ok, I'm tired and can't concentrate on studying so I'm putting some pics on here then going to bed so I can get up REALLY early. Nighty night : )!
